This role forms part of the sales team within the Village n Life hospitality group.
The Role
As Bespoke Reservations Consultant, you’ll support specialised reservations, tailored travel arrangements and guest coordination across the Village n Life portfolio. This role is suited to someone organised, people-focused and passionate about hospitality and travel. You’ll work closely with VIP guests, stakeholders, travel partners and internal teams while assisting with seamless booking journeys from enquiry through to departure.
Key Responsibilities
– Manage reservations, quotations and booking enquiries across the Village n Life portfolio
– Coordinate specialised travel arrangements for VIP guests, stakeholders and niche group bookings
– Process amendments, cancellations, extensions and special requests accurately and efficiently
– Prepare quotations, confirmations, invoices and reservation correspondence
– Coordinate additional guest services including transfers, dining bookings and tourism-related requests
– Communicate guest preferences and requirements with operational teams
– Support upselling and cross-selling opportunities across Village n Life properties and services
– Maintain accurate booking records and stakeholder information within company systems
– Assist with reporting, booking administration and reservation audits
– Build and maintain professional relationships with guests, travel partners and stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
– Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
– Qualification in Hospitality, Tourism, Travel or Business Administration advantageous
– Minimum of 2 years’ experience in reservations, hospitality, travel or a customer-facing role
– Hotel reservations experience preferred
– Experience working with VIP guests or bespoke travel arrangements advantageous
– Opera and reservation platform experience advantageous
– Strong communication and relationship management skills
– Strong organisational, administrative and multitasking abilities
– Passion for hospitality, tourism and guest service
– Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
