Pet-Friendly Stays
Camps Bay Retreat offers a small selection of pet-friendly rooms so you can travel with your four-legged companion without sacrificing comfort. Dogs are welcome to join you on-leash through the gardens and walking paths, adding gentle outdoor time to your stay.
Your room includes two metal bowls, a pet bed suited to your dog’s size and a blanket on request. Poop bags are available. Pet food is not included.
A charge of R290 per pet per night applies. Additional fees may be billed should extra cleaning or damage occur.
PET POLICY
Pets stay inside the room with their owners and may not roam freely. They may not be left on patios or balconies, nor tied up in any outdoor space. When moving through shared areas, they must be carried, on a hand-held leash or in a carrier.
Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Waste must be securely double-bagged and placed in the outdoor bins. Pet waste and cat litter may not be disposed of in toilets. Any damage caused by a pet, or by products used to clean up after one, will be billed to the guest. To ensure the comfort of all guests, pets may not behave in ways that are noisy, disruptive or unsafe. This includes causing injury or damage, persistent noise, being in shared areas without full control or showing aggressive behaviour.
Guests with disabilities are welcome to keep assistance animals in their rooms with access to all common areas. Visitors’ pets follow the same guidelines. Pets may not stay in a room unattended unless Management has granted written permission.
BOOKING CONDITIONS
How to Book a Pet-Friendly Stay:
A nightly fee of R290 per pet will be added to the reservation. No damage deposit is charged upfront, though repair or replacement costs will be billed if needed.
To secure a pet-friendly booking:
1. Contact our Reservations team, as pet-friendly rooms are limited.

3. Complete and sign the Camps Bay Retreat Pet Policy before arrival.
4. Introduce your pet to Management on arrival.
