  • “Lovely place with a warm feel”

Beautiful hotel in an incredible setting. Food was of high standard and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend if you want a quieter more relaxed hotel but not far from all the action and a great beach 5 minutes walk away!

  • “Cape town relaxing holiday”

Beautiful retreat nestled into side of cliffs beneath Lions Head mountain. Great views of table mountain and nine apostles overlooking magnificent beach. Absolutely huge suite (2 of us almost got lost in it!) #1. Three balconies, deep bath, shower, multiple vanities. Very luxurious, serviced twice daily. Great breakfast menu and buffet. Limited evening meal menu, but adequate. Short walk downhill through private gardens to beachfront and restaurant strip. Steep walk home! Close to hop on hop off bus to city, table mountain and penninsular. Good base for day trips along coast (Cape of Good Hope, Hermanus), winelands (Paarl, Stellenbosch, Franshoek etc.)

Outstanding staff of note were Elleanor and Yolanda on reception, and the excellent Mr Benson on the bar and table service, followed closely by Samuel

  • “Best view in Cape Town”

Have stayed there innumerable times before. The views are superb. The staff are friendly. Even the dogs (and I hate dogs) are friendly. Stayed 3 times on this trip. In the new villa first time off. It’s lovely but no private terrace but u can sit on the shared balcony. There’s only 4 rooms so never busy. It has its own huge kitchen so perfect for parties. We love Andrew who is always there to help from opening the gate to carrying baggage Some hotels feel like home and this is one of them
