Magic Falls
The waterfall is one of Camps Bay Retreat’s most enchanting natural features. When Friedrich Wilhelm Knacke owned the estate in the early 20th century, he envisioned gardens framed by streams and cascades flowing between the ravines - a vision that still defines the property today.
Hidden along the walking trails, the waterfall offers a moment of discovery as the sound of rushing water rises through the forest. It is a place where movement and tranquillity meet: water spilling over stone while the canopy above filters light into soft patterns.
Guests pause here to reflect, photograph or simply breathe in the cool air drifting from the spray. The waterfall is a living reminder of the natural energy that has always shaped the estate.
