Mountain Nature Pool

The Mountain Nature Pool is one of the estate’s oldest treasures. Originally created by Trude Knacke, daughter of Friedrich Wilhelm Knacke, it was once the family’s “old natural pool”, a place where childhood summers were spent cooling off in mountain water and where the rhythm of the land shaped daily life.

Fed by fresh streams and set deep in the garden, the pool remains as refreshing today as it was a century ago. Its clear, untreated waters invite guests to swim in nature itself - invigorating, cooling and unforgettable.

In keeping with its heritage, the poolside now features a wood-fired hot tub. Guests can move from the crisp mountain water to the warmth of the tub, surrounded by indigenous vegetation and the stillness of the forest. It’s an experience that combines the raw beauty of the estate with modern comfort, leaving guests inspired, rewarded and spoiled by the rare luxury of simplicity.
