Hidden in the forest between the estate nursery and the natural mountain pool, the Forest Pods offer one of the most adventurous ways to stay at Camps Bay Retreat. Compact at 18 m², each pod includes a double bed, en-suite shower, kitchenette and a private wooden deck surrounded by trees and birdlife. Sleeps 2 adults.

There are three pods in total, making them a great choice for friends who would like to book side by side while still keeping their own space. Access is either through a private gate opposite Glen Beach, or along a winding nature path that leads down from Earl’s Dyke Manor.

Set in the forest, the pods have fewer modern luxuries than the rooms and villas, but that’s part of their charm. Guests often keep a torch or headlamp handy at night - it adds to the sense of adventure as you walk the paths under the canopy. Staying here brings you close to nature, while still giving you access to the full estate, including Bella’s for breakfast and the manor terrace for ocean sunsets.
